I love that the one MC's name is just a variant on 'fujoshi'. I see what they did there.

Sigh, so as with shoujo manga, they seem to be hell-bent on finding and adapting the most stereotypical BL out there. It's like they went "OK, what is the single manga that displays all the stereotypes people associate with BL? let's adapt that into an anime!"

(And this is no judging on those who like it, not every work needs to be revolutionary to be good or enjoyable, and I love some really basic trash myself. If manga like this is your jam more power to you... but let's face it, it's like a collection of stereotypical BL tropes, at least as far as I've read it.)

Still excited for this! The manga is super cute and one of my comfort go-tos. Ichikawa has also been posting new/reposting old art for the series on her Twitter in celebration which is also very cute. I’m curious how the wife/mom aspect will be handled, but time will tell.
