Firstly, hell yeah! Secondly, it looks second-string, so hopefully it maintains a decent average. The characters look softer than I anticipated. I wonder how far it'll go; right before the timeskip?

You don't see the cute witch style of magical girl anime often, especially for a more police-ish style anime, also the brooms have a rocket engine look to them.

Magilumiere is a love song for the magic girl genre. After all, if you can have Superheroes as a job (MHA), why not Magical girls? Also, we will see the different styles of them: scientific ones, more old-school… I hope the studio would make a good job.

Also, let's us remember it is a "straight" Magic Girl manga -not a subversion, deconstruction or whatever- made by female artists and published by Shueisha in the Jump+ magazine.

Don't forget Red Cat Ramen, which was announced the day before Dandadan.

LOL, they are putting Fairouz Ai as the weak-ish MC this time... she's usually the strong secondary character.
Anyways, looks interesting!

Certainly doesn't give the biggest hopes. Hiraoka has literally no experience in actually directing or storyboarding...

Fairouz is actually no stranger to playing the MC already:
    - Hibiki Sakura in "How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?"
    - Jolyne Kūjō in "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean"
    - Ramona Flowers in "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off"
and, most relevant to this Magical Girl anime:
    - Natsuumi Manatsu / Cure Summer in "Tropical-Rouge! Precure" just under 2 years ago

In fact, Yumiri Hanamori, who is voicing the secondary character Hitomi Koshigaya, voiced Suzumura Sango / Cure Coral in TroPre as the second cure on the team led by Fairouz's Cure Summer.

(Granted, some may argue that Sango was more of a tertiary character, with Laura being the real secondary due to her importance in the story/appearing first, even though she was the last on the team to transform into a precure, and until then served a role on the team more similar to the usual mentor part of the fairy role, with Kururun only filling the mascot part of the fairy role.

Just from design alone I would've expected Fairous to play the energetic blonde, though it's far from Hanamori's first blonde.

Fairous feels like she's channeling Inori Minase a little here.

All the same, it looks like a cute show!

Damn. I'm really excited to see this. It isn't a twist or a subversion of magical girl anime, but it is a very different take on Magical Girls, Magic, and Monsters.

Don't know a single thing about this series other than the several times I've glanced at the cover page while scrolling through the SJ+ app. That said, this is looking to be a rather average production just from what I'm seeing. I could be completely wrong when it comes out idk.

If this keeps going like that, maybe we'll even see "Make Exorcist Fall in Love" adapted as well. I think that's my favorite of Jump+ titles currently, though Magilumiere and MARRIAGETOXIN are both "must read" every week.

It’s JC Staff. It’s always an average production when they’re involved lmao.

Could be worse tho.

It isn't a priority for them as Moe's first full animation production that isn't a CGi one also interesting fact that the character designer was an ex kyoto animation animator which moved to Moe recently.
