I really think it helps that all 3 seasons have focused on 2 pairs of characters as the main protagonists through all 3 seasons. Special Week and Silence Suzuka Highlighting S1. The rivalry between Tokai Teio and Meijiro McQueen in S2. Now Highlighting the friendship between Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond for S3, and interestingly enough they foreshadowed S3 in S2 because Kita and Dia were the middle school girls who were the fans of Teio & McQueen from the previous season, so that was a nice touch.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when Kita and Dia finally face each other in a race and how that will affect their friendship.

Not much replies here and I've kind of been failing to reply myself after each ep.
But I will now and maybe for the rest of the season too.

Oh don't worry, all of the different costumes you see, sans butler are already costumes they released in the game. Halloween Rice you mentioned released back in 2021!
The whole festival part was mostly game references and real life references pretty much with some small s1 and s2 callbacks.
My favourite one probably being the Doto reference.

Almost sure the end of the festival part is a reference to the festival song released a few months ago in the game too. Which is a certified banger

Something that never fails to get a reaction from me is when a handler is needed to guide one of the horse girls into their starting pen. It just completely breaks my brain. They're thinking people, they are not actual horses!!!!

In all, a good season! The final episode didn't quite get me as much as some of the previous few episodes. Felt a bit like I knew the outcome, and I was sad that Dia wasn't in the race.

IRL Dia actually came second in the polls for Arima Kinen! But after the Prix fiasco which basically made Dia lose her competitive will they decided against Dia running the Arima Kinen. small irl spoiler spoiler[Heck Dia never recovered from the Prix and only raced poorly after.] But I'm also with you that I wanted to see Dia in the race, I really wanted to see her one last time together with Kita on stage doing the concert segment.
