Silly question, but is this just for the US/Canada release? I've checked Anime Limited's twitter and they've had no posts regarding this for the UK - yet, anyway.

The Shout store listing lists the GP set as Region A.

Are they trying to recoup the cost of licencing Netflix's dub? I'm sure there will be a standard edition later on down the line... At least there better be.

You know, that does remind me. I caught that stupid expensive B: The Beginning premium edition on sale for something like 25 quid a day back, while the standard is pitifully cheap.
I'm legitimately hoping one of two of those will come to pass, but with B, both editions were announced at the same time, while with this one, it's only the deluxe...

Surprised this is coming out before A Place Further than the Universe since this was announced way later. Also uh, makes me hope APFTTU will have a standard edition.

Seems the case with AL (as well as MVM, come to think of it) these days is to do the collector's edition first, and then announce/release a standard edition months later. So, fingers crossed there will be a standard version later next year!

A Place Further than the Universe is being dubbed as part of the release, Great Pretender already had a dub
