I'm surprised they were able to buy a PG-13 for it this time. The narrator doesn't seem like the right choice to sell the action scenes.

Then there's the HD trailer on the XBL Marketplace.

"Shee-row Massuhmoonie," says the narrator.

Well the last one certainly didn't deserve a "R" rating. There was one blood spurt and someone got shot in the head, other than that there was no gore.

I got in trouble over that because I let my younger brother watch an "R" rated movie. Rolling Eyes

Anyway, new trailer looks cool. It's still not in any way influencing me to buy or not buy this movie (I decided that I was going to buy it the minute I heard about it), but it's nice to see some different footage than what's been in the previous trailers. I'm also sort of curious about the documentaries advertised as bonus features; hopefully they're not just another half hour of "Japan is great!" and Ai Kobayashi complaining about how horrible she looks without makeup like the one in the collectors' edition DVD for the first movie.

That's basically the extent of the violence in this one, too. It was definitely a PG-13 experience.

Well it seems great to me. This trailer seems less video gamey than the last one, so that is good. I guess my biggest problem I have is with the talking faces. But everything else looks good. Like Murasakisuishou, I was and am going to get this no matter what. And as with the first one(movie), I am not expecting Pixar level animation, so I will probably enjoy it more than many would as well.

Another thing I noticed is that the music seems to be pretty standard fare. To bad they couldn't get Jaxx, Oakenfold and Boom Boom back.

Yeah, I was sort of disappointed about that. The first movie may have been thoroughly lackluster, but man did it have an awesome soundtrack. Whenever my mom and I go on a long trip where highway driving is involved, she usually insists that I put it on.

The movie looks pretty awesome to me. The dub seems ok at first glance, guess we'll see how it stands after the movie is over.

The narrators sucked for both of the trailers though. The butchering of Shirow's name made me shudder. Anime hyper

Looking forward to the movie!
