Uh, Sanrio made the announcement in Japan on Friday, and Yahoo posted it later that day. One weekend does not equal a week ago. Wink

What's next, Three Stooges for women? More bishonen, less "nyuk nyuk"?

Face it, some things are meant for men and some are for women. Unless they change the name from "Hello Kitty" to "Yo, Cougar!" I just don't see the appeal.

I don't know. I think girls and women look cute in Helly Kitty gear. I think having men get in on the act would just tarnish the image. Lets face it, unless your a contestant on this seasons Project Runway, you really have no business wearing Hello Kitty.

This is bulllcrap? Hello Kitty for men? Doesn't Sanrio already have Batz Maru for that? Bah. Everyone forgets that poor penguin.

You'd have to bash me over the head with a lead Hello Kitty statue to get me in any of that garb. Razz

I don't like hello kitty and that kind of cutesy stuff period (just feels too... gimicky) so this just makes me feel nonplussed, actually the only thing I can think of that worse than guys wearing hello kitty stuff would be guys carrying louis vutton (actually now that I think about it, that goes for both genders)

It's weird because I just can't picture a guy wearing Hello Kitty. I GOTTA see this stuff whenever it is released. Something tells me that 2008 will be an odd year.

Most men I know really like Batz Maru and have no problems wearing stuff with his image. But I guess Hello Kitty is the more recognizable Sanrio franchise character so they're pushing her instead...

I'm sorry...but I'm laughing my butt off at the thought of a straight male wearing a Hello Kitty t-shirt...

...that's just too, too funny!

And wrong...way wrong!

Petros Papadakis likes his Hello Kitty backpack. He's had it since high school! Shocked
