Another concept wasted on Akiyuki Shinbo :/
I wish he would do less anime but with higher quality instead.

This looked to be on course for a January start date, but has been moved back to July - possibly an indication they're taking a bit more time with it.
Bakemonogatari is probably Nisioisin's best work, and the concept and style should fit Shinbo very well.
I'm not as big a fan of Katanagatari, though; I've read most of it, and it has some great bits, but overall I just find it hard to get excited about.
