I hope to see 3gatsu lisenced here or an anime made one day, cause from what I've read I've rather enjoyed it. It has much of the day to day charm I like in H&C.

How the hell can March Comes in Like a Lion be nominated when it's so new?

Isn't this supposed to be an award for new titles? March Comes in Like a Lion started in the first half of 2008 (as did Saint Young Men and I think Toriko)... so it's new, but not moreso than anything else nominated.

I agree with the first poster, I really can't wait for it to get licensed, along with Saint Young Men, although that one might have some trouble coming over for obvious reasons. Hopefully not, though.

edit: March Comes in Like a Lion actually started in 2007...the first volume didn't come out until 2008, though.

Man, why is it that award-nominated/winning manga mostly happen to NEVER make it the States, and if they do, they aren't well received?

More importantly, why did I ask such an obvious question...?

Maybe the same reason many festival award-winning films don't make much money: too avant-garde.
