oh yeah, for an overview, the story is about 2 siblings who are not in good terms and one day, the brother learned that his almost-perfect-sister is an otaku and loves to play ero-games about 'little sisters'.In short, one hell of a hentai imoto

Isn't it illegal in Japan to sell adult games to minors? How did she get the games, besides downloading....
(Or at least immoral? Kinda like minors being pr0n otaku. I'm sure that'd be funny too. )

I wish they'd stop making anime with plotlines that could just as easily be performed with real actors. This applies to all these "ordinary high school/slice of life" genres. What do they gain from animating it? Does it cost less?

Imo it's because (mostly) only otaku would dig these plotlines, and we all know they don't like 3D. Anime is also 2D, so I guess you can say the medium can more faithfully adapt the light novel. |

It may not be incest, but obviously the whole siscon thing is the appeal. I mean the title is "My little sister can't possibly be this cute" or "There's no way my little sister is this cute." Whether it's funny or repulsive depends entirely on how it's handled. I haven't read the light novels, so I have no idea. It's not illegal in most jurisdictions. On the other hand, it's difficult for minors to buy adult materials in person since almost all retailers voluntarily agree to not sell them to minors — just like in America. One of the plot points of these light novels is the siblings' father happens to be a police officer who is against anything otaku-related. |

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that. But in all seriousness, I really, really hope it's either. This series might have the potential to be funny. Seriously hope it's not though, those shows are far too creepy and I don't saw very often. I've seen some slightly offensive shows (Shin Chan, Super Milk Chan, Hare and Guu) but at the end of the show, the characters never really did anything too strange. Hinted, maybe, but not anywhere near the red zone. Even comedic ally, this type of joke can be absolutely creepy. |

The ability to create characters however you want them to look and move, as opposed to being limited to the available pool of actors, is one of animation's big merits. |
