That's cool, Verizon already has the Funi channel so now verizon has both anime channel. But I won't be subscribing as watching SD on my HDTV looks terrible, and that's odd that they don't have the beginning of most of the series.

And which series are free? as when I select one they ask me to subscribe

They add them on one a week and after a few weeks the episode is taken off.
I'm happy with just funi. Also i've heard Fios can be bad at remembering to add new content to the on demand in a timely manner. That or they have something against Doctor Who.

Please tell me why I would pay extra to watch episodes of a series in the middle?

Why would I watch episodes 23-26 of Evangelion without the rest of the series? Why? Why? Why?

Highschool of the Dead is the only thing appealing because it is new and starts with episode #1. But I'm sure it is censored, which is stupid because you are paying extra for it.

My Navi had the sub for a while this is the same content as the other companies are getting from them. You are not getting it all from episode one just because Fios is a new customer .

BrightHouse in Central FL used to have an on Demand channel too and they did the same thing. Would show Episode 6 of such and such anime one month, then the next month would show Episode 13. Yay! Let's watch random anime episodes!

I think the people doing the programming don't have a clue that anime (unlike American shows) have plot lines - can't just put random episodes up like CSI or Seinfeld.

I think they should put the whole series up for 15 days (or perhaps a month depending on series length), then change it to a different series. THEN I would consider paying for it. As it is now I wouldn't even watch it if it were free...

why is it so hard for people to understand that episodes go up for a little bit then get taken down that's how Anime Network on demand works. that's how a lot of on demand stuff works.

Yay! I'll have to figure out if this subscription is good for their online site and the mobile app as well, though I suspect not.

Interesting. Wasn't the Anime Network Channel owned by ADV or was it it's own sole entity? If so who owns the rights to it now?

I think it was sold off or spun off as it's own entity long before the Fall of ADV started.

Well, I already get this channel on Time Warner Cable, but it's cool that others get to get it now as well. It's pretty good.

Wish I could get the FUNi channel, though. xD.

The problem is that I can't download from the Anime Network or the Manga.com or the Shonensunday thou for awilde I was able to from Shonensunday before they locked me out because I reside here in Puerto Rico if I want to download anime I have to use Hulu or the Anime News Network the others consider Puerto Rico a foreign country even though it's a US territory you figure.

Already have this on Cablevision (with a very similar line-up currently) but I'm glad to see that more people have access to it or that I would should I change services.
Odd that on a new network they wouldn't start with a new line-up instead of continuing with another networks line-up.
