The yen has been stronger lately, so it isn't that bad a thing that they made a little less. Nintendo had a financial loss because they didn't expect the yen to be worth as much. And the conversion is killing me when I look at imports; I miss when 1 cent pretty much = 1 yen.

Every time these positive K-On! news a ANN reviewer puts their head though a wall.
Good news for K-on! fans. I might of found something that might indicate a third season.

That's pretty obvious fan art right there. Heck, Sumire doesn't even look like Sumire =\

That's why I typed "might". I don't know if it's real or fake. I really hope it's real.

The manga is still going on being released twice a month. It would only make sense that by mid-next year there would be enough source material to do a third season. But with the manga being split between the girls in college and Azusa's senior year it might be a different anime format - alternating storyline with each episodes.

of course there will be a dip. They are releasing, releasing, re-releasing, there are too getting to a point where people who wants k-on related goods already have too much to store.
but season 3 would be pretty cool.
I've bought the entire thing on BD for season 2, DVD for season 1 Razz original Japanese release ofc (one that costs like $90 for 3eps)
