It was such a great film. I would love to see it on the big screen.

Uh, they also had Castle in the Sky and Paprika screened for the film festival, too. Shame not too many people showed up for the latter, I didn't go to the other one but given it's a Ghibli there was probably a bigger crowd.

When i was growing up I lived within walking distance of the Garde Arts Center and was there almost every weekend. It was a great place to see alot of cool stuff as a kid. They had either plays or classic movies nearly every weekend.
To bad I don't live so close to it anymore or I would have gone to see Tokyo Godfathers and Paprika just to see them on the big screen. But I have them on DVD so at least I didn't miss them entirely. I wonder what the turn out was/will be for those movies. Would be nice to see alot of people there giving them a chance. |
