the company uses the original Japanese manga volumes

(quoted for emphasis)

While I do understand what the line means in general (i.e., translating directly from the Japanese script instead of using a previously released English translation), I should nonetheless point out that their translation is based on the re-released version from 2003 (or 2004; forget which), as opposed to the original 1992 version. This is an important point because, the former version has some redrawn artwork (e.g., a CD-ROM during the Crystal Seminar story, instead of the floppy disk from the original version), plus some dialogue and terminology (e.g., "Guardian", instead of "Sailor Senshi", at least I think that's how it is) were slightly altered, with the former parts appearing in Kodansha Comics USA's release. I just thought I'd clarify this.

An iPhone app, awesome. There have been a few series of theirs that I want to check out digitally, but the only iOS app they had was for the iPad. Now I can get some stuff for my iPod. Smile

Oh goodie! That hole in my collection's been bugging me for awhile.

Now if only we could get them to do vol. 6 of Mushishi too...

I wish that they commented on the chances of releasing Sailor Moon digitally.

Kodansha Comics is looking into Natsumi Ando's (Kitchen Princess) other food manga.

Natsumi Andou has another food manga??
Does she now... I'd like to see what series they're talking about, unless it's a KP spinoff that I've never heard of.
