Weird, typically only shows aimed at older mainstream audiences get live action adaptions. They must have a lot of faith in this franchise to do both an anime and this live action adaption.

this show is actually perfect for the live action crowd...
its all about the two lead characters
I don't think most of them really watch anime

I dunno. I'm not going to say the possibility is zero, but considering the source, it just seems to me like someone made a mistake when typing it out. These kinds of accidental announcements happen all the time, and you only really ever see the ones that are caught by fans...

On that note, I have been wanting to read the novels, but I love the art and would love to see a live-action adaption of something so... "moe"...
I'm afraid it will appeal to the general "moe" crowd (for instance, AKB48 has a huge live-action "moe" appeal), but maybe the story is good enough (or will be modified well enough) for a live-action audience.

Just gotta wait and see.

Highly doubtful, but brownie points if they cast Yui Ogura in the live action as Tsukiko as well. It's not like she hasn't been in an actress in a movie either (Sukima in 2005) Very Happy

It seems they made a mistake. I checked it again today, and the meta description says, "the popular light novels are finally getting an anime adaptation!"
