I'd buy this if it has Hitman Reborn characters in it....

Maybe even Black Cat, too.

I really hope this is going to be the ultimate Jump game- like, including more characters and series than Jump Ultimate Stars.

Kinda weird that it spotlights Goku, Luffy and... Toriko. I woulda expected Naruto would be the 3rd, since I don't think Toriko has done anything to deserve being on the same level as legends like Goku and Luffy.

Anyway if anything mah [removed] Gon Freecs should be on there cause he's way better than Toriko Wink

Its popular yeah, but Naruto still destroys it in manga sales. Naruto sold almost 4 times as many volumes in the recent 2012 manga sales article.

It just seems to me like Jump is trying to push Toriko to be the big manga to replace Naruto when it ends soon.

Toriko is popular in Japan right now and is also aimed at a more younger audience than say Naruto or Bleach, which would have been obvious choices to stand alongside legends like Goku and Luffy.

It seems so. Seeing as most of the other up and comers aren't getting anywhere near as popular as the big three (and Hunter X Hunter) are they have to push something i guess.

One Piece, DBZ and Toriko are all Toei shows. I know this is a Shonen Jump game and as such will include characters no matter what the studio connected to their Anime adaptation is BUT i think that while i don't have the explanation for this reason, the fact they are all Toei properties would be my guess.

I'm guessing this is only applicable to people in Japan? And I wonder how seriously they'd take a suggestion of Yasumasu Teratani from I"s...hey, he could like...flip the skirts of female characters...or...something. Razz

I want characters from Gintama, Medaka Box and Beelzebub in this game.

And I really hope this game gets licensed over here. But I guess even if it won't, it wouldn't be a big problem, since the PS3 is region-free.

Well, we can send in a postcard- I even might, since it's relatively cheap to send one to Japan. I'll be right there with you voting for some I''s representation... And Eyeshield 21. I need some of that.

Why should this be decided by a vote?

Namco Bandai/Jump really can't decide how to shape up the roster?

You pick at most 5 characters from each battle series.
1-2 from non battle series.

After playing Jump Ultimate Stars I can say I'm hyped for this game. I'll probably end up getting this for PS3. Character wise I'm cool with the three shown, but I kinda hope for some other characters. That was one thing that made Jump Ultimate Stars really fun was the large amount of characters that I'm still not sure who everyone was.

Give me a JoJo, Kenshiro, and Kinnikuman and I'll probably pick that up near instantly.
