Whoo!

I was hoping for a second season, but this is cool too!

I knew there was a catch. But I hope Kagami can make some cameos in the anime.

Watch this not get licensed because Bandai is dead and the first series probably bombed for them. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

There was news that Bandai had a lot of limited edition version left over so your not far off. Its sad though because I thought bandai localized it very well.

I'm hoping somebody will risk it and license this, because I'm willing to give it a shot after how much I ended up loving Lucky Star.

Also, apparently I'm the only one that never knew until now the creator's name was Kagami...I can't help but wonder if she's got a real life friend that's essentially Konata. Laughing

Kagami the mangaka is a "he."

And heres the 2nd time a very well known series gets a spinoff and removes the main character that Aya Hirano voiced.

One time is maybe a coincidence, but I'm starting to think this is being done on purpose now.

I never knew there was a manga of these two. I am definitely watching it.

That said, a second season of Lucky Star might be difficult to pull off well if KyoAni isn't interested - with a spinoff you can go to lower-grade animation with fewer complaints than with a sequel(there's also the question of how to handle all those strips after the lead four graduate that randomly have them back in high school).

Really? I had no idea on that either, my mistake.

Sweet it maybe not a second season but it will still do and hoping that Sentai will pick this up like they did with K-On season 2

At least one volume of the manga that Bandai put out refers to the author as "she", so you're definitely in good company.

FYI, the characters were voiced by Yukiko Takaguchi and Yui Kano for their cameo in the last Lucky Star episode. Wonder if they'll be recast.

Never heard of this spinoff series, but I'm definitely interested. Also, it's kind of interesting that Yamakan is being brought back on board. Hope they can get along better this time.

This is going to be great! I'm super excited! I'll totally be watching this series, I've enjoyed reading about them in the manga, now that they're going to be in an anime I can enjoy them even more! Very Happy
