1.the animation better be good (2nd toriko x OP special was bad)

I'm not sure if I'll enjoy Toriko in this crossover as much as One Piece and DBZ but oh well. The only reason I never liked Toriko was because he looks WAY to muscular, and he's already strong at the beginning of the show. I like shounen shows that have the character progress and become stronger like DBZ, HxH, or One Piece.
I can't really dislike Toriko because I've only seen 4 episodes, but it's just little pet peeves I have about the show that keeps me away. |

What is the deal with these stupid cross-overs?
The Toriko X One Piece cross-over was terrible. However, I did like the Gintama X Sket Dance cross-over, but that's because they are similar shows that take advantage of comedy and gags, so it works. The again, I think Toriko is an awful show, and the art style is terrible, so that probably doesn't help. Personally I'd rather see something more interesting like YuYu Haskusho X Bleach. That could work. Or Hunter x Hunter X Fairy Tail. |

Jump is doing everything in their power to make Toriko the next mega hit. I think its kinda insulting throwing it in there with One Piece and DBZ personally, since its no where near that level.

Err...both Goku and Luffy start off strong, and heck Luffy doesn't actually ever lose a fight until way into the series. Toriko is strong sure, but it's made evident pretty quickly that there are characters much stronger than him. |

Yeah pretty much. Jump is rightly scared with Naruto and Bleach ending within the next year or so, and One Piece can't last forever. So they need to try to start shilling some newer series now. I'm actually a fan of Toriko, and have been collecting all the volumes of it as it comes out from Viz, but it is definitely a different sort of beast then One Piece and DBZ and I see it as more a very successful but nowhere near megalith of a title like DBZ and One Piece type of title. |

Fairy Tail is a Kodansha title so the chances of that happening is very unlikely. Personally I wish Shueisha would show more love to Beelzebub. It's a more entertaining manga and the characters are more likable than Toriko. |

I imagine the DBZ characters can pretty much ignore everyone else, since they're exponentially more powerful. I think even Bulma could beat Luffy at this point.

I can't wait too see Luffy go against Goku in an eating contest I wonder who would win lol. Also are there that many people that'll want to watch it because of Toriko I wonder? I also made a video discussing every single thing I'm looking forward to, as I can't fit every single thing that I'm looking forward to in the cross over. Mark your calenders everyone for April 7th.

How is Shueisha trying everything in their power to make it the next mega hit? It's alredy coming up on its own and it's basically usurped Bleach's no.3 spot that it lost a long time ago in Jump. They're just pushing a popular property.
And let's say Toriko wasn't that popular, what's wrong with pushing a property? It's smart. Many titles are ending soon and they need to strengthen the next generation of series. It just so happens that Toei's involved with all those three series so it's much easier to do a crossover with those three. This is a good thing. |

And this. Mostly every other comment just reeks of ignorance. As for other potential crossovers, Bleach and Naruto are possible since it's the same animation company, it just wouldn't be as profitable in Japan. |
