Do I need to have watched the anime too watch this movie?

It takes place in Season 2, I believe. It will spoil somethings in appearance, but I don't think so for the plot of the movie? |

I think it'd be a good Idea to do so, it may determine wether you want to watch the film or not!

Thanks guys for the replies. Now I don't have time for watching another anime (and it will start the spring season of anime), but I will put it in my to watch list. If the movie becomes available for me to watch before I start watching the anime I will give it a chance anyways.
