Well now. This is unexpected certainly wasn't expecting to see Medaka Box anywhere in this lineup but I'm pleased none the less. Too bad Kumagawa's just a support character though

Oh snap! I was trying not to get my hopes up, since Medaka Box isn't the most popular SJ manga, but yeah! Cool!
And if Medaka Box could make it, I think more popular series like Hitman Reborn and Shaman King should be a shoe-in.

I'm not a fan of Bleach but I guess you're forgetting that it's main is in the rooster too.

Medaka Box has performed awfully in the polls for just about its entire run, and its sales are terrible compared to every other series which have a playable character so far. Popularity is clearly not the key factor, so this has really expanded the range of possible additions now.

Good, now the game isn't a complete sausage-fest anymore.
I'm still holding out hope for Tokiko from Buso Renkin, although they'd more than likely put Kazuki in instead if they were to include a rep from that series.

Agreed, though I'd honestly be happy just to see Buso Renkin make the cut even if we did just get Kazuki. That series really needs some more love.
Heck, I'd be happy to see Papillon in this too.
