This is great. Now we don't have to worry about getting throttled by Niconico's player when everybody tries watching at the same time.

Wow, I thought Daisuki would have this title for sure. Well done, Crunchyroll.

As opposed to Crunchyroll or in addition to Crunchyroll? Most of Daisuki's streams seem to be in parallel with Crunchyroll's streams.

i think you got it wrong. Daisuki were created by Toei, aniplex .. their shows will stream on Daisuki's show. CR normally will stream those shows too.

Yes...I was hoping Crunchyroll would stream the new series! Now here's to hoping that maybe someday they will be able to get the original series as well...but for the time being I'll put up with the ads on Neon Alley for a trip down nostalhia way :p

Both options still leave as really subpar bitrates and resolutions. I really wish more companies would use youtube to stream anime. Never once had issues with the ones that they DO have (like the official Gundam channel and how they streamed Build Fighters in great quality)

Youtube is broken unlike CR.

Daisuki could still end up with it, also. Perhaps Toei is learning from Aniplex's "spread the love" streaming approach.

At least with CR's streams, I can pause the video to take a bathroom break, take a phone call, etc., and not have the video stop about 2 minutes after I restart it.
That was a constant problem when I streamed Gundam Seed Remastered, GSD Remastered, and Gundam AGE from the GundamInfo channel on YouTube, so I expect GBF to be no different.
Also, I fail to see how CR qualifies as "subpar resolutions" since they offer up to 1080p. Perhaps you were referring only to what they offer if you want to view for free?
More streaming choices are always better for the consumer, but I for one certainly don't like seeing anime only on YouTube. Aside from the above problem, there is also no ad-free option. (Although thankfully YouTube shows far fewer ads than Hulu).

I know right? My fear was actually having to use Nico's service to watch it.

Sailor Moon Crystal only airs twice a month?
Oh well...
And how the heck are they going to compress a series with 26 episodes into 3, speaking of JoJo?
I mean, it was all killer, no filler. This is really beyond me.
