Looking forward to it so much. I've pre-ordered it myself. Anime hyper

Here's to hoping it has more after-game content than X & Y. That was my biggest pet peeve.

This might sound odd but as a fan of the game series i kind of hope this falls over on it's self. I have long waited for a ruby/sapphire remake and was overjoyed to see it coming but now i wish it didn't...

I know many will argue this one but im one of them who disliked the mega evolution feature, it was a boring way to over-power pokemon, now i love a challenge but this is more a drag than it is fun. (Even more i question why they made legend stuff with this dumb feature).
Well anyway so as a disliker you might of guessed the reason im cursing this game, but let me be more blunt, it's not just the mega evolving that annoys me, well it is but it's that fact this game has almost NO new features, every "new feature" announced was just what new mega evolutions are being forced on us, i refused the system in that i never used it, i can vouch for 30-40% of players also found it a set back over improvement but here they are now forcing it down our throat.

So whilst i wont deny i have the game on pre-order, i should also mention unless things change this is the final game i will ever purchase in this series.

i think even game developers realised how over powered the feature was as they have thankfully done one thing right, they (from what someone told me) have limited to one mega evolve per battle... this at least will help bring back players with skill > players with the ability to become over powered without any effort.
I liked the day when everyone trained stuff with their own unique play style and strategy using things they trained to be good, not pressed a button and it immensely becomes stronger.

You're still complaining about Mega Evolutions? Buddy, they aren't there to hax the game, they're there for balance. You ever played competitively? Even if you had a Mega, you can only send out one per battle, and in the words of Ghetis:

i stopped playing competitively (and stopped playing) when going online presented nothing but the same battle, different person just similar things, the amount of times i have to fight against Mega garchomp (or worst a team of Mega's), became a little redundant.
Anyway i stated my biggest issue was the lacking of anything in the game, there is little confirmation of their being anything new other than mega's, they claim each mega announcement is a new feature, think someone need to define "feature" and then "new" to them.

A new pokemon is a new feature... so how is just modifying a existing one any different? The concept of mega's was a new feature but each individual mega isn't.

all they did was Imbalance, not balance. (im sure Mewtwo needed a mega afterall, having the highest development (EV?/IV?) in the games to me shouldn't call for mega.

But the concept of them being op aside, my point was, they are using Mega as a way to "make new things" without actually making anything, in other words it's like a shooting game just throwing in 4 new weapons and saying the games new. As said im a big fan of this game series, i have owned them all (well one per release duo) since back in the days of Red/Blue, i just think now they are throwing us the short end of the stick, limiting "new" content and saying it's a game.

As for mega's... im not alone in the disliking of the feature, which is fine if others like them (i just refuse to mega my stuff), but we are being forced to use it now, this thing about mega a latios/latias to access some place or another seems like it's forcing it down my throat... just saying, at the end of the day im sure i wont be the only fan loosing interest because the new focus direction it's taking.
(ehehe so much for Mega being limited to regions of X & Y right xD Story failure there).
