AB light novels have been around forever now. I imagine this will be an announcement of a live event where they will then maybe perhaps slightly make some vague suggestion as to when the first AB visual novel could possibly be released.

Good outcome: First visual novel released (By this I mean release date announcement etc) Best outcome: 20+ episode remake (In my opinion that is) |

Yeah...that delay really sucked but I hope they decided to release less "episodes" of the VN and fit more into each part. I swear this countdown said 8 hours when I woke up today lol. Maybe I wasn't really awake. Oh well. I expect it will finally be a TRUE release date and nothing more. |

Oh, and the clock is set to read your local time and does not do any time zone conversion. By setting your time zone to UTC+9 (Japan's time zone) then you can see that the countdown only has a little over 5 hours to go right now.

Reminds me few years ago they made "an ultra important announcement" about Angel Beats! and in the end what they offered was... a PVC figure. |

There's something wrong with the timer because when I checked the site this morning, the countdown was supposed to end around 8:00 PM EST, which was five hours ago now.

The timer is following your desktop time/ local time setting. Only few hours to go actually. |

I really hope its an anime remake. No offense to visual novels, I love them and all(And honestly I'd love to see Otanashi go for Yuri), but the fact is that they hardly ever make it stateside and fan translations take way too long(Usually due to lack of manpower or interest.), whereas anime are translated within 24 hours to a week of broadcast.
So really I hope its an anime, but I honestly don't mind if its a Visual Novel so long as it makes its way stateside before I become old and gray. |
