While I haven't played the games, kudos to Funi for getting as much of the game cast as they could.

I thought they'd just outsource it to Bang Zoom so this is surprising to me. It must have been difficult for them to bring all those VAs to Texas.

Most of the original cast is back, Mike McFarland's directing and the replacements sound like they should work (Now that I think about it, Tia Ballard and Sandy Fox do sound alike) so I've got no complaints.

I'd kinda like to know where this was recorded. did someone move Heaven and Earth to get the CA based people to Texas, or did Mike actually travel to CA and record there, and then back to Texas to fill in the missing cast.

Pretty sure most of the voice cast recorded in LA with a few others in Dallas. Bicoastal dubs have been done before.

I do have the Vita version of the original game. The voices fit the personality of the characters very good.

.....damn it...they couldn't get kate in the anime for Iffy.....

of course, my favoirte character had to be one of the characters that they couldn't get the original english voice actress for in the anime. ::Sighs::

I also never heard of the person who is going to be voicing Iffy in the anime.....

kowai....hontoni kowai....

Thank you Funi for getting the majority of the cast back. Neptune just wouldn't have been the same without Fahn. Too bad for Peashy but Tia Ballard is a great secondary choice. Not surpassing that IF has a new voice. Just like Fate/Stay night. At lease Kate Higgins remains in the games. All in all, awesome news.

This is a great move by Funi. They probably will do the same for Danganronpa. But yeah, looking forward to buying Neptunia now.

Nep-Nep just isn't Nep-Nep without Melissa Fahn's voice. Good for Funimation that they brought back as much of the original cast as they could. A shame that Kate Higgins, Sandy Fox, and Julie Ann Taylor couldn't come back, though.

Seconding this, freaking awesome, I wasn't sure if they would pull it off and get them but this is fantastic (outside of the few missing like sadly no Kate Higgins since she's great too). No complaints, I'm quite impressed.

I've loved a lot of Mike McFarland's dubs too so I expect he'll do a great job with this cast.

if it didn't ,some dub casting would not have been possible.

especially for series that are based off of games and vice versa like this , xenosaga and bayonetta where there is a decision by the anime licensors on whether or not to use the cast from the game cause while the bayonetta movie are using the cast from the game , the xenosaga anime series as well as the devil may cry series & the ZOE:Idolo OVA had none of the cast from the games which severely peeved off a lot of fans.

however its very interesting that their using a combination of both for the tv series. and considering that in carl completely destroyed the series during the last streaming review, its safe to say that a dub version wont be changing anyone's mind who ever reviews the DVD version this summer.

Awesome news, and I'm kinda surprised. Like others, I was expecting this to be outsourced to Bang Zoom, so seeing Mike as the ADR director is surprising. Glad Fahn is doing Nep Nep, can't picture anyone else as her (well aside from Tanaka, but in English). And I want that limited edition game, I still don't have Victory.
