Finally! I never did finish watching this, but I wanted to... If it had been simulcast I probably would have.

Finally! Now, it's time to start hoping that this will be one of those anime that Sentai actually dubs.

I suppose this license was expected, but I am glad it has been confirmed. I hope Sentai can put it on Crunchyroll.

All depends if they're willing to pay the money Kadokawa wants for the series. This was a TBS title and apparently one that was too expensive for Sentai to simulcast, so that says something.

I was about to be the guy to say it, but this does put things into perspective so thanks. How about Nichijou though? If there was any other Kyoani show I wanted to own it'd be that one. I already got the haruhi stuff that matters (season 1 and the movie) so those two series are all I'm waiting for til the the company (kyoani) does something worth a damn again.

Yeah, it sucks that with Sentai releases you do not have the option of watching the series in Japanese with subtitles. Oh wait, you can actually do that with Sentai releases. Rolling Eyes

Hope this gets the special edition box that Chuu2 and NGNL got. I'd pay for it.

I guess some people would rather have no legal release than one from a company they don't like. I don't buy Funimation releases for a number of reasons, and while I may be disappointed when they license something I was interested in, I don't get mad about it.

Anyway, since this was a TBS show, it was only a matter of time. It's good to have confirmation though. It's probably very likely it will get dubbed.

Never started Amagi (heard the end was anticlimatic) but if anyone can get Hyouka its probably Funimation. They have other Kadokawa products like Future Diary, Ga Rei Zero, FMP, Heaven's Lost Property and Panty & Stocking.

I'll try out Amagi if Sentai plans a dub.

Hoping that they hold off on releasing it until the OVA comes out. So that it can be included in the set.
