Happosai would literally steal a woman's shirt off her back.

Slander, he is skilled enough to steal a woman's bra while leaving the shirt on.

Lupin III was obvious for #1, but obvious for a reason: he's the best.

The Kaito Kid episodes of Detective Conan went downhill once they all started being either plugs for his solo series or just about whatever thing Sonoko/Serena's crazy uncle was up to (his dog getting locked in the foolproof vault, for instance). I watch Detective Conan for children poking around grizzly murders, anyway (which also become less pronounced because I think the parents' groups finally caught on).

or instead of old man makarov , i would probably put the black dragon achnologia or zeref instead. also i'm more surprised that none of the gundam models or even guyver 3 (considering he's an uber anti hero) is even on this list. Epyon , wing zero ,master gundam or dark/devil gundam or the tallgeese would have ran away with the votes easily.especially the epyon or wing zero.

Maou Sadao would be best boss: if you can't trust the Devil then who can you trust? While Gintoki is a fun guy, he doesn't even supply Kagura and Shinpachi a stable income.
Yang (LOGH) and Col. Mustang (FMA) come close.

Also, kinda funny seeing Makoto from Free! because there was a Drama CD where he was the 'Chairman' & Rin acted as Secretary.

...actually, that would make for a great Office AU fanfic.

I really do not think that Happosai belongs on the list with the others.
He is the exact opposite of charming and his thefts have no moral justification. Of course that is just my opinion.
I would have replaced him with Meimi from Saint Tail.

For the new poll I picked Masato from Evangelion. That is partly because I think that she would be good to work for, but mostly because I was too lazy to think of somebody better.

Has Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne ever been licensed here? I had VHS fansubs of the show many years ago. I couldn't find any links to a DVD or streaming release.

If it hasn't, I'm not holding my breath as it's a little-known late 90s show and a ripoff of Sailor Moon.

Nijuu Mensou from Nijuu Mensou no Musume steals a variety of precious items out from under the noses of their owners and often the police as well.

I suppose Isaac and Miria from Baccano! don't really qualify here, but they do make off with quite the variety of loot during their famous coast-to-coast crime spree. What do you suppose they did with the museum's front steps?

The manga yes, twice - Viz rereleased it in the last year or so. The anime, nope. I remember reading years ago that there were some kind of issues with its masters or something that made it highly unlikely it ever could be Sad

I can't think of a better boss than ARIA's Alicia Florence. She's a well-known expert at her job and is kind, patient and very supportive.
