Hmm, no format yet...

I think a TV series is possible in the future but also maybe a movie as well? We'll have to see I guess but I think we may have to wait for awhile for this to actually debut.

This has just made my day. I really liked Saekano so for it to get a sequel of some kind is great news. I was kinda worried it wouldn't get a sequel because of the apparently large amount of people that hated it with a passion claiming it to be "worse than cancer".

I do not think a movie would work for this series, it just would not feel right. Although an OVA could seem more possible, I think another series would be a lot better and work in this series favor. It feels like they covered at most 4 volumes, and there is 8 out now, so a full season would be more likely.

I liked this title so I hope it is another series. They friggin' waited until almost the end before finally introducing Music Girl so I want to see more of her. And of course the game hasn't actually been finished and released yet...

Agree with all of that. This is a series that should benefit from having a sequel, and it's the one series I saw this winter for which I'd actually go back and watch a second season.

YES! YES! YES! Saekano (IMHO) was crown jewel of the winter season. It definitely deserves a 2nd season. Now, YenPress just needs to license the Light Novels and everything would be perfect!

Utaha is the best girl!

I haven't encountered anything like that myself.

Not too surprising. The creators seem to have known what they were doing and hit all the right harem LN adaptation notes to reel the otaku in.

That's a pretty trite analysis of the show's appeal. If all the show did was hit all the right harem notes, I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much - or even at all since I'm pretty tired of straight up harems. It was the humour that resulted from subverting the usual harem notes that made the show fun. Yeah, there is a certain amount of having your cake and eating it too going on but you'd have to be fairly uncharitable not to recognize where it deliberately strays from "the usual harem notes."

Not a big surprise considering its disc sales figures, but welcome.

Knew it; the first season ended before they could work on the other routes. I don't pick sides for harem anime heroines but...it's pretty obvious whom I'm rooting for.
