Ah good news.
One of the previous shorts in the past known as Death Billiards did become a TV series (Death Parade) after all. Hoping to see something exciting from these projects next year.

Darn it. I liked the name Mirai. Anyway, looking forward to more potential hits.

Tamago? What the hell, Mirai made so much more sense.
Expecting the Buemon short to be full CGI, wonder if it'll have that top notch quality we saw in one of the shorts in Animator Expo, probably not.
Fumihiro Yoshimura (Tezuka Productions) already directed Kumi to Tulip which was one of the Anime Mirai shorts this year, I think it's the one with no voice acting, wonder what they'll do now.

Wonder if a risk-taking project with a whole different design style can become a TV series

I suppose that after Death Parade we need to pay more attention to this project. I hope more of these projects leads to more great tv series.

While I also preferred Anime Mirai, Anime Tamago works too. I interpreted it as the hatching of eggs symbolizing the birth of new life, in this case a new generation of animators.
