Thats a shame though. If my house was burning down the first thing I'd probably go for would be my Slayers boxsets.

I think its more likely that they are phasing out the old boxes. With the series airing on TAN, maybe they'll be releasing a new box set.

I wonder if it would be any different than the original boxsets. The first season (Slayers TV) re-mastered re-release still has some problems including the dub not being in sync with the animation on one episode. They also edited out the eye-catchers for no reason.

When my apartment almost burned down last April, I didn't grab a single dvd. My husband was really surprised. Frankly, I think was down-right shocked.

(The firemen put the fire next door out really fast and all my stuff was a-okay. Stinky but good. )

Well, actually I'd probably go for my huge hip hop collection first. Theres some stuff in there that would be hard to replace, like KMD - Mr. Hood. Slayers though would probably be second in line.

Well, they never did too much to fix the JP sound, on the re-release of set 1 I'm told, so I'm not buying until they fix that.
