Oooh this is actually pretty cool. But I have to wonder how everything came about and who has the rights to what.

Like did they ask Takeshi Nogami to draw an original manga/anime concept for Shirobako? Does he get to use the images because the fictional version of himself created the manga? It's so confusing. (^.^;)

I don't think they really needed his premission to parody him in Shirobako, obviously, I think they asked him anyway, and obviously everything belongs to the creators of Shirobako.
This is, by all means, a doujin.

I wish this kind of thing happened with the final manga/anime created in Bakuman. 3 lol

They did, it's called "Death Note". ... In all seriousness though, I'd be more interested in seeing a real manga based on PCP rather than Reversi.

Anyway, this is quite interesting! I'd love to read The Third Girls Aerial Squad.

interesting, i welcome it since there arent many series that have aerial dogfighting as a theme, even though its going to be with fighter jets and not WWI/WWII and maybe korean war-era planes
