Huh. Interesting pick, I guess. I couldn't get past much of the early-ish chapters, and I think it was the heroine that did it in. I get that it's supposed to contrast uber-conservatism with super liberalism, and I'm not opposed to the heroine being up for lots of casual sex.

I just didn't like how she kept using people; it made her a hard character to like. :/

Actually, scratch that. I remember now that the monk spoiler[locked his "fiancee" in a room out of jealousy]. At least it's equal opportunity? Rolling Eyes

While the premise doesn't exactly excite me, it is Yamapi so I'll check it out anyway.

P.S. Ishihara Satomi wasn't in Summer Nude (perhaps she's being mistaken for Nose Karina or Toda Erika?).

The last time I stopped reading the manga it was when the spoiler[rape by deception happened. He purposefully sabotaged her chances at a good and new job so she'd give up all her dreams and become his wife by cornering her depression and sleeping with her. I think he has some really good political ties because he just called the company and said for them to not bother with her. Pretty sure he put a black list on her so she wouldn't be able to get a job with any company which would leave her with only 1 option: be a housewife for him.]

IDK what I was expecting form the same mangaka that wrote Hot Gimmick. Too much ick. But you're right, the female lead is a massive cunt but even a cunt spoiler[doesn't deserve to be raped].

Yikes. Well I guarantee that won't make it into the drama. Here's hoping they change some (or maybe a lot of) elements to be more palatable to the TV audience.
