There was never any surprise that Boruto and Sarada would be playable in NUNS 4. The real surprise is that they're locked to the day-one edition. I wonder why.

Yeah in a previous generation they also would've been unlockable under rather asinine or arbitrary circumstances such as beating the game on a certain difficulty and/or finishing it without losing a round or a hidden code you'd only know through a guide or word of mouth Rolling Eyes

it's always so adorable seeing someone trying to defend the game publishers for doing something you can't defend...

And it's equally cute seeing gamers lament about how something used to be back in their days. Even if those things they remember are misremembered wrong in terms of quality or execution. And in the process of remembering them make them look disgruntled or entitled. To say nothing of the pointlessness of them accusing others of "defending" something simply because those people don't share their opinions.

I hope now they'll add unlimited time for online matches. That is one thing that they should've added a long while ago. Especially since a lot of the matches end on time, which can be frustrating.

It wouldn't be too bad if some people didn't play keep away on some of the more spacious arenas. While also abusing some of the more broken play mechanics.

From what I've learned playng against some particularly evasive players in Smash Bros., having a time limit is absolutely crucial for any video game with competitive play.

Exactly, and yet since storm 2, there's been no addition of infinite time. It's ironic, given that single player has unlimited time.

Also, when player A notices they're low on time, they'll generally try to dodge player B as much as they can until time runs out. Which can be really frustrating for player B. This is a feature so basic and important, and yet they haven't added it at all since storm 2.

I was in support of there being a time limit by default. I used Smash Bros. as an example of a game that also allows for matches without time limits but all competitive play sets time limits anyway because of those evasive players. I went to a session of Super Smash Bros. Melee one time where Temple was allowed. A bunch of people would pick that stage and turn off its time limit: All of these matches proceeded to last 20 to 30 minutes because one of them would insist strictly on hit-and-run, with emphasis on the "run."

Facing even just one of those players can set you in a bad mood because of how annoyingly long they stretch out these matches and how they're not even that skilled, for the most part.
