Big Hero 6 Is Japan's Top-Selling Animated Blu-ray of 2015 After 3 Days

In three days, the MovieNEX (Blu-ray Disc + DVD + Digital Copy) edition of Disney's Big Hero 6 film sold 160,762 copies to become Japan's top-selling animated Blu-ray Disc of 2015. The MovieNEX Plus 3D edition of the Oscar-winning film sold another 10,786 copies between April 24 and April 26.
The previous record-holder for 2015 was the MovieNEX edition of Disney's Frozen, which has sold 117,000 copies this year. However, Frozen MovieNEX has sold 2.386 million since it went on sale in Japan last July.
