Himote House Anime Listed With 12 Episodes

The official website for animation studio Bouncy's new Himote House anime revealed on Monday that the series will have three DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases. Each volume will have four episodes, for a total of 12 episodes for the series. The releases will ship once per month for three consecutive months beginning on January 23.
The anime premiered on Tokyo MX, BS11, and the GyaO! streaming service on October 7 at 25:50, 24:45, and 25:00 (all effectively on October 8 morning), respectively. The show then premiered on J:COM on October 8 at 10:45 p.m.
The comedy anime centers on five girls and one cat all living as housemates in Nakano, Tokyo: the three Himote sisters (Tokiyo, Kinami, and Kokoro) whose family manages the "Himote House," Kokoro's classmates Tae and Minamo, and the cat Enishi. The girls live their daily lives trying to figure out ways to be popular, and they (and the cat) all possess a mysterious secret power ….
Kōtarō Ishidate (gdgd Fairies, Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono, Naria Girls) is directing the anime, and he is also credited for the original idea and series composition. The artist booota (Seven Senses of the Re'Union novels) is designing the characters. Mikinori Suzuki (Bakuon!!, Yowamushi Pedal 3DCG animation) is credited as the animation director. Jun'ichi Inoue (Minarai Diva, Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono) and Hajime (Minarai Diva, Q Transformers: Kaettekita Convoy no Nazo) are composing the music.
