Sound! Euphonium The Movie - Our Promise: A Brand New Day Film Gets More Screenings in Tokyo in August

The official website for the Sound! Euphonium anime franchise announced on Monday that Kyoto Animation's Sound! Euphonium The Movie - Our Promise: A Brand New Day film will have additional screenings at the EJ Anime Theater in Shinjuku in Tokyo starting on August 23.
The film will also screen as previously announced at the Tsukaguchi Sun Sun Theater in Hyogo prefecture from August 2-15, and at Cinema Mode in Hiroshima prefecture starting on August 16. The film is currently screening at Okawa Cinema Hall in Fukuoka prefecture.
The movie opened in Japan on April 19, and it earned 93,022,800 yen (about US$831,500) from Friday to Sunday to rank at #5 in its opening weekend.
Eleven Arts screened the film in partnership with Fathom Events in the United States on July 11 (English subtitles) and on July 15 (English dub). The company also screened the film in Canada on on July 16 (English dub) and July 18 (English subtitles).
Kyoto Animation's 1st Studio building suffered a fire on July 18, killing 35 people and injuring 33 others. Kyoto Animation has opened an account to accept donations, which raised 620 million yen (about US$5.7 million) in its first two days. The company will give the funds to families of the deceased and injured victims of the fire, as well as for rebuilding.
