Trivia:

In ep 4, during the scene in the movies, the "movie" that is playing is actually the anime series "High School of the Dead".

In ep 4, during the shopping scene, the first store that Kaito and Manami visit is named "Chamel". This is obviously a play on the actual brand name "Chanel"

There are multiple instances in which one of the characters is seen drinking soda from a few awfully distinctive brands. While they weren't identical in name, the color scheme was very similar. Some of the cans were brands such as Pepsi and 7up.

In episode 6, Tetsurō Ishigaki is building a plastic model kit that is nearly identical to the Hasegawa 1/72nd Scale F-15J. The design of the box, is uncannily similar to the real item including the kit number: E-12. Even they layout of the parts on the sprues and the decal sheet reveal Ishigaki’s kit to be from the new boxing of the mold that Hasegawa released in 1988.
