It was announced in Summer 2006 that Steve Wang (creator of the Guyver Movies) and his brother, Michael will be adapting Kamen Rider Ryuki and retitling the series "KAMEN RIDER DRAGON KNIGHT" (which also happens to be the literal translation of "Ryuki"). In December of that same year, a trailer was leaked on the Internet, since then both Wang and Adness Entertainment request that all information regarding Kamen Rider Dragon Knight be removed as once. This will mark the return of an adapted Kamen Rider show since Saban's adaption of Kamen Rider Black RX in 1995 and will mark the first adaptation of the New Generation (Post Ishinomori) Kamen Riders. Several months later the actual early pilot episode was shown on YouTube. The series was picked up by 4Kids Entertainment and slated for release in 2009 on CW 4Kids.
