Trivia:

In Japanese Zakuro means pomegranate and Ichigo means strawberry.

Mint's ballet school is called the Ikumi Ballet Group. This is a reference to Tokyo Mew Mew mangaka Mia Ikumi.

Originally, 4Kids was going to change the name of the anime to Hollywood Mew Mew. This upset a majority of Tokyo Mew Mew fans, as they didn't see why it really needed a name change. So 4kids changed it back to Tokyo Mew Mew and it was even called that on their website. There were also articles in anime magazines calling it by its original name when it was being announced to American audiences. However, they later decided to rename it Mew Mew Power.

Australia, South America, Brazil, Canada and South Africa are the only countries to air the full run of the dubbed Mew Mew Power. The United States has yet to air the three remaining episodes for Season One.

The French version was the only dub to finish the entire series under the name "Mew Mew Power." Episodes 1-26 were dubbed from the 4Kids version and episodes 27-52 were dubbed uncut from the original Japanese version. Although the dubbed names were still kept.

4Kids Entertainment doesn't actually own the second half of Tokyo Mew Mew. They may or may not decide to dub it. Some people believe that another company will pick up the rights to the second half and dub it.
