Trivia:

This show is believed to be Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino's attempt to consolidate all the Gundam "alternate" universes into one with his own "Universal Century" timeline. Dubbed the "Turn A Bang" theory by fans (a reference to the "Gundam Big Bang" 20th anniversary celebration in 1999), this belief is heavily hinted at in the series but never explicitly stated.

The Japanese broadcast of the final episode was delayed one week due to a volcanic eruption at Mt. Usu in Hokkaido.

In accordance with the theme of consolidating all Gundam continuities into one universe, the title of the show, which the audience is instructed to read "Turn A" Gundam, is actually a mathematical symbol known as the universal quantifier, which means "all units within a set." Thus, an alternate reading of the title "∀ Gundam" would be, "All units within the set Gundam."

Turn A Gundam (Along with storyline, Characters, Machines, etc...) played a large part in the game Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden along with several other Robot Series.

Winner of "Best TV Animation Award" at Animation Kobe '99

In one of the later episodes, Guin Lineford is going through blueprints for a number of UC suits. Among them, however, are blueprints for the Nether (Windmill) Gundam and Fuunsaiki from G Gundam.

The design of the title mech, the Turn A Gundam, was designed by Syd Mead of Blade Runner fame.
