About:
Growing up in a family of Kimono makers, Suzuki was very interested in history and tradition. She dropped out of college to study with Shisei Inagaki an established author and consultant on Japan's Edo Period. Her manga reflect her interest in the Edo period and in 1993 she retired from manga creation to focus on writing and speaking about the Edo period.
