Description:
Shuji and Chise are high school seniors in a small town.​ They have just started dating thanks to the matchmaking of their mutual friend,​ Akemi.​ Meanwhile,​ the city of Sapporo is attacked from the air.​ However,​ a counterattack by Japan's Self Defense Forces (SDF) saves the city from total destruction.​

Soon after this attack,​ Shuji discovers that Chise has been engineered by the SDF so that she can transform herself into a powerful weapon when she is summoned on a mission.​..
