Description:
Based on a Osamu Tezuka's graphic novel first published in 1949 more than 10 years before the inception of Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy), Metropolis takes a look at the rapid expansion of science and technology and the co-existence of humans and robots.

The story centers on a young girl named Tima and Kenichi, the nephew of a private detective named Shunsaku Ban. Tima, who doesn’t know she’s really a robot, is stalked at every turn by Rock, who wants only to destroy her, and Duke Red, who wants only to use her power for his own ends. Now the fate of both Metropolis and the fragile coexistence of its humans and robots lies in the hands of this single young girl.
