One Piece's 30-cm Oars Zombie Figure Offered by Bandai

The Premium Bandai shopping website began accepting pre-orders for an exclusive 30-centimeter (about 1-foot) Oars One Piece figure on Monday. The zombie giant character will ship in Japan in March as part of Bandai's new "1/144 World Scale One Piece" figure line.
The Oars figure has movable arms, and it is the One Piece adventure anime's first 1/144-scale character figure available for pre-order. Premium Bandai is offering the exclusive figure for the retail price of 5,460 yen (about US$70).
The first part of the "1/144 World Scale One Piece" figure series, also shipping in March, will include Kuma, Gekkō Moriah, and Straw Hat Pirates crew members. Each of the six initial figure sets will include a diorama with several tiny 1/144-scale characters for the retail price of 600 yen (about US$8). They will each bundle a bonus piece of the Going Merry pirate ship that collectors can use to construct the complete 14.5-centimeter vessel.
Bandai plans to release more characters in the the "1/144 World Scale One Piece" figure line, but details about additional sets have not yet been announced.
