One Piece's Horo Horo Ghost Made Into Magnetic Plush

posted on by Egan Loo
Launch Perona's Negative Hollow attacks by sticking ghosts onto people, things

The Japanese company Plex will sell a magnetic plush version of Perona's Horo Horo Ghosts from Eiichiro Oda's One Piece pirate manga and anime in mid-April.

The plush figure recreates the ghosts used by Perona, the "ghost princess" and a commander of zombies during the manga and anime's Thriller Bark story arc. In the story, the ghosts can strike people via a "Negative Hollow" attack, and bring victims to their knees in a fit of depression. Each hand of the plush Horo Horo Ghosts has a magnet so the ghosts can stick onto objects (or to people wearing something steel or iron).

Each polyester plush Horo Horo Ghost measures 16 by 6 by 3 centimeters (about 6 by 2 by 1 inches) and costs 924 yen (US$12), although retailers are offering pre-orders at a discount. Plex is a Namco Bandai Group company that designs and makes character goods.
