Gundam AGE's 3rd Opening Theme Performed by ViVid

The official website for the Japanese rock band ViVid revealed on Thursday that the band will perform the third opening theme song "Real" for the Mobile Suit Gundam AGE television anime series. The band will release its fifth single, which will include "Real," on May 16. The band had released its fourth single "Message" (pictured at right) in January.
The Nico Nico Douga website will stream a live show featuring the band discussing their recording process for the new single on March 20 at 9:30 p.m. in Japan (8:30 a.m. EDT).
ViVid previously performed the 14th opening theme song "Blue" for the Bleach television anime series, and the ending theme song "Yume~Mugen no Kanata~" for the Level E television anime series.
In addition, the official Gundam AGE Twitter account noted on Friday that the show's third generation arc will take place approximately 50 years after the first generation arc. The third generation of Gundam AGE will revolve around Kio Asuno, who is Asemu's son and Flit's grandson.
