Medabots 7: Kabuto Ver./Kuwagata Ver. Announced for 3DS

The Famitsu gaming website has revealed that Medabots 7: Kabuto Ver./Kuwagata Ver., a new pair of games from the Medabots series, has been announced for the Nintendo 3DS handheld system. This will be the first time a game from the the robot battling RPG series appears on the system.
The two versions of the game will share the same story, but which of the 140 Medabots appear in the game, as well as which of the 90 Medals and many parts players can customize their own robots with will change depending on which version they play. Each version of the game will also contain a separate set of "Medabots AR Trading Cards," with 64 cards in all. The game will also a new battle system. The game will also feature a "Medabot Album" feature, as well as an in-game casino and in-game toy dispensers that players can use to acquire rare items.
Medabots 7: Kabuto Ver./Kuwagata Ver. is slated for release on September 13, and each version will be sold for 6090 yen (about US$77).
