Evangelion Horse-Racing TV Ads Streamed

The Japan Racing Association (JRA) began streaming horse-racing commercials with Evangelion on Friday. Kotono Mitsuishi, the voice of the anime's Misato, narrates the commercials:

JRA has already been promoting the sport this year with its "SMART! JRA" campaign with the idol group AKB48. A new part of the campaign, the "JRA Instrumentality Project," will launch on Saturday with the Evangelion tie-in. The official site will have a "u:MAGI" section that introduces the basics of horse-racing to newcomers. The u:MAGI section draws inspiration from the anime's MAGI supercomputer and uses "Synchro Rate" and other Evangelion keywords to explain horse-racing terms.

Then, a "EVA-kan Simulator" horse-racing predicting game will launch on June 24 to celebrate the Takarazuka Kinen race. Winners will receive original Evangelion goods.
