posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
New exhibit lets visitors experience powers from Astro Boy, Cyborg 009, Doraemon, more

Odaiba's Miraikan National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation launched a science exhibit featuring popular manga characters on Saturday. The "Experience Manga through Science Exhibit ~Dream Heroes who Transcend Time~" features characters from Doraemon, Kaibutsu-kun, Cyborg 009, Astro Boy, and Himitsu no Akko-chan.

The exhibit introduces visitors to facial image recognition, voice recognition, stop-motion goggles, and image processing technology in a hands-on environment, simulating famous manga characters' powers and allowing visitors to have the "experience" mentioned in the exhibit's title.

The museum will run the special exhibit from July 7 to October 15.
