2013 game pits plastic models in different scales in virtual dioramas
Namco Bandai Games previewed its new Gundam Breaker game for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita systems with a trailer at Tokyo Game Show 2012 this past week. Unlike most previous Gundam games that try to recreate the robot anime itself, this 2013 game will pit plastic models against other plastic models in stages inspired by dioramas.
The trailer shows a 1/144-scale Gundam RX-78-2 taking on a much larger 1/60 scale Gundam RX-78-2. (The backdrop in this scenario is a diorama of Diver City Tokyo — the real-life home of the life-size Gundam statue.)
