Watch Tamako Market Novel's Cover Animate With Smartphone App

Kyoto Animation began streaming an instructional video about how to use the “junaio Augmented Reality Browses” app for the Android and iPhone devices to see an animated cover of the Tamako Market novel.

The steps to downloading and using the app are as follows:

• 1) Download the junaio Augmented Reality Browses app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store
• 2) After installing, tap the scan button within the app.
• 3) Scan the QR code featured within the video
• 4) After the QR code has been scanned, aim the smartphone towards the cover of the Tamako Market novel. The cover will animate.

The Tamako Market novel was released on Monday in Japan, written by Mitsuki Ichinose with illustrations by Yukiko Horiguchi (K-ON!, Tamako Market character design). The novel tells stories not told in the Tamako Market anime in 11 chapters.
