Adaptation of Yui Hara 's 4-panel comedy manga to premiere on July 6

Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that it will stream the Kin-iro Mosaic television anime series under the name Kinmoza!. Crunchyroll will stream the series starting on Saturday, July 6 at 11:00 a.m. EDT for users in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and Turkey!.

The series adapts Yui Hara's four-panel comedy manga that begins with Shinobu, a 15-year-old, seemingly "pure Japanese" girl who actually did a homestay in Great Britain. Even after coming back to Japan, she still misses her time overseas. One day, an air mail letter arrives from Alice, the girl in Shinobu's host family in Great Britain. The letter reads, "Shinobu, I'm coming to Japan!" The "Japanese/British girls' mixed comedy" follows the lives of Shinobu, Alice, and other girls from both Japan and Great Britain.

Tensho (Rewrite's opening animation director, designs) will be directing the anime at Studio Gokumi (NAKAIMO - My Little Sister Is Among Them!, Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge) from scripts by Yuniko Ayana (Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl, Bakuman.). Kazuyuki Ueda (NAKAIMO - My Little Sister Is Among Them! chief animation director) will be handling the character designs.

The show will star Asuka Nishi as Shinobu Ōmiya, Manami Tanaka as Alice Cartelet, Risa Taneda as Aya Komichi, Yumi Uchiyama as Yōko Inokuma, and Nao Tōyama as Karen Kujō. The main cast is also performing the ending theme song "Your Voice" under the group name Rhodanthe*.

The show will premiere in Japan on July 6.
